Enhancing Our Services to Meet Changing Market Expectations

Since joining Synergy IT Solutions as the Chief Technology Officer just two short years ago, I have had the chance to engage in dialogue with IT leaders from many of our client companies. Through these conversations, I have learned that leaders' expectations for an IT solutions provider are shifting. At Synergy, our focus has traditionally been on working with our clients to identify very specific projects, develop initiatives, and execute on those solutions. Those short-term engagements frequently address critical business and technology challenges and will continue to be an extremely important part of the value we provide. 

However, as a result of my ongoing client interactions, I now believe a critical role companies like ours can play lies in developing deeper, more lasting relationships with clients where we serve as a trusted advisor on wide-ranging technology strategies, initiatives, and projects. I think there are a couple of key reasons this is the right approach for both Synergy and our clients. 

In the current technology environment, managing the day-in and day-out technology needs of the average company requires an enormous breadth of knowledge, including but not limited to,

It is hard to imagine any one person with such a wide array of skills, let alone the time to focus on all of that. By contrast, we identify and hire highly skilled professionals with very specific areas of expertise and also deep experience in the industry giving our clients access to a team of experts to advise them in their most critical business and technology challenges. 

The availability, negotiation process, onboarding, training, and salary expense required to hire the necessary team to execute your IT strategies can be prohibitive. Beyond that, understanding whether you have the capacity to effectively utilize those resources from month to month or year to year is difficult to measure.
